About the role
FootHealth Battersea is looking for a full-time podiatrist to join our team on Battersea Rise. We have been caring for feet in Battersea and South West London since 1959, and our patients come to us from Chelsea, Clapham, Wandsworth, Fulham and the Home Counties.
You will run your own clinical list, assessing and treating patients across the full scope of the clinic's work, including:
- Nail conditions, including ingrowing and fungal nails
- Skin conditions such as corns, callus, verrucas and cracked heels
- Musculoskeletal and sports injuries, including biomechanical assessment and gait analysis
- Foot pain, including plantar fasciitis, bunions and neuromas
- Diabetic and rheumatological foot care, and feet in pregnancy
- Children's feet
You will work alongside podiatrists with specialist interests in biomechanics, sports injuries and diabetes.
What we are looking for
- A degree (or equivalent) in podiatric medicine
- Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Confidence treating a general podiatry caseload
- A warm, reassuring manner with patients of all ages
Experience administering local anaesthesia, or an interest in biomechanics, sports injuries or diabetic foot care, would be welcome but is not essential.
