Specialist foot care in Battersea

Some life stages and conditions place particular demands on your feet. We provide attentive, specialist care for rheumatological foot problems and for feet during pregnancy.

Rheumatological foot care

Conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis can affect the joints and soft tissues of the feet, leading to pain, changes in foot shape, pressure points and skin or nail problems. We provide careful foot care for people living with rheumatological conditions, helping to manage pressure, treat hard skin and nail problems safely, advise on footwear, and support comfort and mobility. We work alongside the rest of your healthcare team rather than replacing it.

Feet in pregnancy

Pregnancy brings changes that can affect the feet, including swelling, changes in posture and load, and difficulty reaching your own feet for routine care. We offer comfortable, supportive foot care during pregnancy, from safe routine treatment such as nail and hard-skin care to advice on swelling, footwear and comfort. If anything we see needs your midwife's or GP's attention, we will tell you.

When to see a podiatrist

Book if you have a rheumatological condition affecting your feet, if foot care has become difficult or uncomfortable during pregnancy, or if you would value professional, reassuring care tailored to your situation.

Can you help with swollen feet in pregnancy?

We can offer comfort-focused care and practical advice, and will advise you to seek medical attention if swelling is sudden, severe or accompanied by other symptoms.

How does podiatry help with rheumatoid arthritis?

We help manage the foot-related effects, such as pressure, hard skin, nail care and footwear, to support comfort and mobility, alongside your medical care.

Do you replace my rheumatology or maternity care?
